From Hill Station to Healthcare Hub

Five to ten years back, for corporates eying Eastern India, there was no better place than Kolkata for setting up private healthcare institutes. And why not? Besides the yawning demand supply gap, the well-established medical infrastructure, Kolkata has always been the gateway to the East that received a regular stream of patients from the North Eastern states and even from the neighbouring countries of Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.
